On October 31, 2025, the Society for the Analysis of Government and Economics (SAGE) hosted an online lecture entitled "China's Regional Competition and Unique Relationship between Government and the Market." This lecture was presented by Zhou Li'an, Director of Peking University's Faculty of Economics and Management and Boya Chair Professor of Applied Economics at Peking University's Guanghua School of Management.
